Unfortunately being a mummy has led to a drastic change in underwear, gone are the days of expensive pretty wonder bra's and frilly french knickers, instead i have now resigned myself to the fact that i will forever live in spandex!
I have recently rediscovered the joy of buying pretty underwear (for obvious reasons!!) but nothing beats the effectiveness of those babies - and I have them in both colours!!
Last year, after an operation, I had to wear them AND support stockings (with floral tops, yuck). The amount of electricity that was generated as I walked along would have solved the power needs of a small country!
Selina - They're great aren't they but id much prefer to be in your position buying nice lovely pretty pants ...sigh
Mwa - eh Mrs what you trying to say he :)
Chic Mama - I know the things we women have to go through, men have it way too easy x
MBNAD - You are so funny, i'm snorting to myself trying to imagine such a scene, i'm sure it wasn't that bad ha :) P.s I'd love to read your blog, so if you have any openings for new readers do let me know @wifeofbold@yahoo.co.uk x
Laura C - Yep especially when you put them in the washing machine and then wear them later only to disover the underwire bit is stabbing you in the chest argh
I go for the all in one, it's a nightmare to get on, even harder to get off but blimey it's comfortable when you wear it and it makes you look good too! plus the most effective form of birth control ever invented. Long live Bridget Jones !!!
Kelloggsville - thanks hun, i have an all in one too and it even has a hole in it for you to pee pee, the best invention ever and the fact it puts off my hubby is a bonus :)
oooh I have the same pair in black!

ReplyDeleteHahahahahaha. I just fell off my chair. No I way I would ever squeeze into one of those (ok, ask me again after baby #2...).
ReplyDeleteI have never worn spandex. I got too much booty.
ReplyDeleteGreat pic!! I have tried them but there is a muffin affect at the top (perhaps cue time to diet?)
ReplyDeleteby the time I got those babies on, I'd have to pee and I'd have to take them off! Then I'd need to take a nap, because I'd be exhausted!
